You're It!

Privacy Policy

You're It! (the "Site") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information is handled and how.

Information we collect directly

The Site has no sign-up, and we do not collect your name or contact details on any server we manage.

Information stored in your browser

The following is stored only in your own browser's storage (localStorage) and is never sent to a server.

  • The list of names you enter as players
  • Your sound on/off setting

You can erase it at any time by clearing the browser's site data. On a shared device, please remove names after use. If you'd rather not enter someone's real name, use a nickname.

Third-party services

In providing the Site, these outside services may process your IP address and browser information.

  • Hosting provider: may process access logs to deliver pages and maintain security.
  • Google Fonts: your browser connects to Google's servers to load fonts.
  • Google AdSense: applies when ads are shown, as described below.

Cookies and advertising

The Site may display ads through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on those visits. Learn more in Google's advertising policies and how Google uses data from partner sites.

Your choices

  • Turn off personalized ads in Google Ads Settings.
  • Opt out of some third-party vendors' personalized ads at aboutads.info.
  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Games remain playable, though entered names may not be saved.
  • Visitors from the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland may see a consent message from Google.

Children

The Site does not knowingly collect personal information from children. We suggest children use nicknames with a guardian's guidance.
